Division of Otolaryngology
(ENT - Ear, Nose and Throat)

Otolaryngology is much more than simple health care for children with minor ear, nose and throat problems and UCMG physicians in the Division of Otolaryngology at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles provide comprehensive services in a wide range of areas. Experienced and skilled surgeons offer care in not only treatment for common or recurring ear infections, but also evaluation and treatment of facial trauma, assistance overcoming the many otolaryngologic manifestations of cystic fibrosis, evaluation and treatment of head and neck tumors and evaluation and treatment of complex airway problems.

Ear, nose, throat, head and neck problems are a common occurrence in children of all ages. In addition to treatment of various disorders, the Division of Otolaryngology physicians provide ongoing medical supervision, patient and family education and continuing support long after treatment has begun to produce results. When necessary, appropriate medical and surgical interventions are available. In all cases, collaboration with referring physicians regarding treatment plans and overall goals for both patients and their families is essential. The end result is continuity of care that is second to none among pediatric hospitals and programs in the United States.

UCMG physicians in the Divison of Otolaryngology also see patients in offices in Glendale and Covina.
