Division of Adolescent Medicine

The Teenage Health Center in the Division of Adolescent Medicine is a medically based program that involves over 50 health care professionals working to improve the health of today's teenagers. Comprehensive health services that draw upon and integrate the expertise of professionals from medicine, psychology, health education and social work, focus on the complex problems that affect contemporary youth. Starting with the first visit, a total health assessment is initiated that evaluates not only the present problem, but also the risk for other problems in the present or future. Emphasis at the Center is on state of the art treatment and prevention strategies.
